GWR 2-8-0T 5224

GWR 2-8-0T 5224 is a member of the 5205 class of heavy freight tanks. These were Collet's development of the Churchward 42xx class originally introduced in 1910. The loco is seen in the yard at Ropley in October 2010 jammed between two other roads of locos - hence the less than perfect photos. Photos D Clarke.
