For the past couple of years the C&W team has sought to produce an annual focussed programme of work for the wagon fleet in the yard such that the overall condition of these vehicles can be improved to support their use for commercial purposes or provide complementary exhibits to those in the Museum and shelter. Our Wagon Plan is now in its second iteration and contains a programme of work for 2025.

The pages for indiviual wagons accessed from the Wagons dropdown menu provide a description of the activities undertaken by the C&W team showing the wagons we have, or are, working on to demonstrate the scope of works undertaken and progress in our aim to deliver appropriate stewardship of the overall wagon fleet in keeping with the aims of the Society.
